Kitchen under cabinet lighting is always great, right? Well only when well executed… Which under cabinet lighting do you prefer, the kitchen on the left or right? The kitchen on the left has the lighting installed on the back of the wall cabinet, facing out towards the kitchen. On the right the lighting was installed on the front edge of the wall cabinet, facing backwards towards the backsplash tile. Note the right kitchen does a great job of washing the tile and lighting the counter top while the left kitchen does a great job of piercing your eyes with LEDs!!! Pulling off the right kitchen is not easy, see the smaller images on the far right. These strip LED light bands may require a transformer which would ideally be hid behind the wall cabinet as the top right picture shows with the blank plate covering the transformer. Then the wire to the strip LED light is run inside the wall cabinet and neatly drilled down to meet the light band cleanly mounted on the inside front edge of the wall cabinet.
