While it will look great the day it is installed, light colored grout in floor tile in high traffic areas will get dirty and stained quickly. While there are commercial applications to clean it, who needs that maintenance headache/expense? And if not cleaned, you leave a patchy, dirty appearance to your customers / residents. Push back when your design team specifies light grout. Even if sealed, it will become a maintenance issue.
