Let’s say you were shopping for a $3,000/month apartment and your first impression of a new building as you approach the leasing office door is the same first impression when you open the door at a fast food restaurant.  Would you notice it right away?  Would you subconsciously take it into consideration?  Take a look at these examples and consider upgrading your main entry door handles on your next new community.  Be careful, the upgraded handle needs to be specified and coordinated with the door and the locking device.  Otherwise you may end up with a box of great handles that don’t work with the doors that were installed!
